Unable to open Javascipt links in IE

Greets.

This has been an annoyance for a while now, and it does
deprive one of web browsing experience.

It seems that any Javascript links such as:
javascript:blush:penAgentSite('27049');

do not work at all for me. Is there some accessibility
problem? What should I ensure is installed/enabled for the
links to work?

XP + Service pack 1 + IE v6.0
Thanks.

If you have a newer XP cd or installed SP1 which I see
you did you no longer have Java on your system(due to a
lawsuit thar Microsoft lost). here are some links to
download it.

NO. This is a JavaScript question, JavaScript has nothing at all to do
with Java.

JavaScript is builtin to IE, and is enabled by default. Apparently the
line of code you cite is trying to open a new web site. Do you have a
pop-up blocker installed? That may be blocking this code. Other than
that, check Tools|Internet Options|Security to make sure that
JavaScript is enabled.
