Unable to open IE6

I just recently started having problems with my browers and
was wondering if anybody out there can help me figure out
what the problem is.

All of a sudden, when I try to launch IE 6, it does not
open, and gives me the following dialogue box that reads:

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Does anybody know the best way of fixing this, and getting
my brower to open again?

This is probably a parasite/malware problem.
Start with CWShredder 1.51 from
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html

Then if necessary download, *update* and run Ad-aware and/or Spybot.

Did this work of you? I am suddenly having the same
problem. The only way I can get IE to open is selecting
the data acquistion link on the dialog box.
