unable to open IE

I can't get IE working. Run program, it does not do
anything, it thinks for a few seconds and close. I run
virus scans, download updates and pathces. Nothing helps.
Have installed new iexplore.exe file, still doesn't help,
Netscape Navigator works just fine. Does anybody have any
suggestions?
