Unable to Open a File

I have two computers at home

Computer A: XP Pro and Office 2007
Computer B: Windows 7 Pro and Office 2007

I have an Excel file on computer A that I want to use on computer B. I have
tried to open the file from computer B both via a network connection b/w the
two machines and by copying the file on a thumb drive and transferring the
file manually. But for some reason, this one particular file will not open
on computer B. I am able to access every other Excel file except for this
one. When opening I get an error" A problem caused this program to stop
interacting with Windows."

Any thoughts on what would prevent me from opening this one file? I should
note that origianlly the file was set-up to be protected. I have since
removed password protection but this has not helped resolve the access issue.

I'd greatly apprecaite any suggestions on what would be causing this problem.

Thanks,

mucrick

Not sure what is causing your problem but as a suggestion a workaround may be
to copy and paste your spreadsheet to a 'new' workbook and save with a new
temporary name. Try opening on machine B. You could also try various options
like 'copy' and 'paste special' using values. Through a process of
elimination you may find what is stopping you opening your original file.
