Unable to move flag field

We are using office 2003 SP3 on windows XP SP3 and I have a user that is
trying to move the flag field from the right to the left. Does anybody know
how to do this? When you go into the window that changes the order the flag
field has been moved up but the flag field never moves over to the beginning
of the fields. I have also tried to drag the field and that is impossible as
well.

Quick flags can't be moved. You can turn off quick flags in Customize
views - its under the Other Settings button - then the flag column will
move.
