unable to log onto outgoing server smtp

I keep getting the messae send and recieve unknown error 0x800CCC67 when
trying to send an email.i can recieve fine. i have removed the email account
from outlook 2003 numerous times then re-addedc hecked detials etc and all
are correct.

When i do a test setings get the ''unable to log onto outgoing server smpt''
message.

it has been fine and i know ntl have not changed settings as most poeple i
email regularly are on ntl.

This has been happening to me for over a week now. Fire walls etc have been
checked and no problems there.
 
Try Googling the error message Mrs Jones, there has been some discussion on
the topic.
 
Hi

i have googled and looked on all forums i can, which brought me to this one.
i have tired everything it suggests , butstill wont work.

i might try uninstalling it and putting back on, if that wont work will have
to use other email service.
