After a service pack 4 update my printer was defaulted to a network printer tcp?ip configureation. I go to add printer and the LPT1 is not present. Yes I went into the registry, but I can't figure out how to add this back into ports monitored, or ports listed when adding a new printer device. In easier terms: When the box opens for adding new printer, it doesn't even show the option of the LPT1 port. Help!!!

Add a REG_SZ called "LPT1:" (minus the quotes) in the following location
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Ports
