Unable to install HP Photo printer

I am having a problem installing software and drivers for a new HP Photo
printer. I have been thru every possible fix from HP and they suggest
uninstalling SP2 from my machine. Brand new machine and Microsoft says its
not possible. Used plug-n-play hardware installer and machine locks up after
part of installation process and then uninstalls what got installed. Error
message says Webu is the module locking up. Have come to the conclusion it is
in my new XP SP2 machine since same printer installed fine on an older XP
machine. Any help appreciated.
