unable to import mpegs to movie maker

seems that movie maker doesn't recognize content when i
try to import mpeg video. i know there's content because
media player opens them; i just cannot import them. am i
missing some kind of update?
 
I have the same problem. See my post. If you find an answer, please help?
 
Movie Maker just doesn't work with, or work well with MPEG-2 source
files.... it's best to convert them to AVI files before importing them and
using in projects.
