unable to import dbx mail files

I just upgraded my hard drive and also upgraded to xp from
ME, before I did this I backed up my email folders &
favorites from IE. I am trying to import the files
but 'the files cannot be found' windows doesn't
recognize .dbx files.
I had outlook express 6 before. any help would be
appreciated.

Are you using the Import Wizard from IE6?

If so, please list the options you took as you went through the screens.
