unable to import contacts

I saved outlook folder (calendar & contacts as .pst files
on CD before doing re-install of hard drive.
After reinstallation of Windows ME & Office 97, was able
to import calendar successfully, but so far unable to
import contacts.
Appreciate suggestions.

Make sure that the PST file is writeable before you try to import. Copy it
to your hard drive and remove the read-only attribute from it.
