Unable to "grab" a doc in Word 2003

All,
This just happened to me today. When I open Word 2003, the doc is in the
middle of my screen, it is maximized, and I cannot "grab" it at the top and
move it around my screen. When the doc (any doc) is minimized I can grab it
and move it around. Any suggestions ? Any help is truly appreciated!!

Maximized documents fill the screen and cannot be moved or sized. Minimized
documents are reduced to the Taskbar and can't be seen at all. Restored
documents (documents in a Normal window) can be moved and sized.
