Hi all
I have windows Xp on my PC in a dual boot along with fedora core.
I am able to run my system in Linux very well, but when I am using
windows I am getting my system restart after runnnig it for some 10
minuits. I am not even able to go to safe more. When I press F8 for
going to safe mode it shows the safe mode option, when i select safe
mode and try to run it in safe mode, it tryes to load the drivers and
then restarts. I tried it several times but everytime the same thing.
Whne I am choosing to last known good configuration I am able to run
the system for some time. The time is some ime 10 minuits sometimes an
houre or so. But it is restarting frequently. and sometine I am getting
my sound driver sound max crashed when it restarts. I havent changed
any hardware in my system.
Can anyone in the group help me out in finding the probelm in my
system, and how can I go to safe mode.
Thanks
Ram

Try disconnecting all of your external peripherals external drives, usb,
etc. and reboot.
Check you device manager for any conflicts.
Check your eventviewer logs, system and application for any errors.
Backup your files and run a virus and spyware check to verify that the
machine is clean. You stated that there is a problem with sound so might
also try uninstalling and reinstall the drivers.

Try using windows clean boot troubleshooting
