Unable to get stock quotes

B

Ben Stevenson

I have quite a problem on which I hope someone can help me. I trade the US
Stock market daily as an overnight trader. I used to keep a watchlist of
several dozen stocks on Yahoo Finance portfolios, and it worked quite well
for some years. Everday after trading ends the daily stock quotes updated on
my watchlist are available for me to evaluate for future action.

Suddenly last week I hardly see the quotes anymore. Out of the several dozen
stocks I monitor I hardly see the quotes of about half dozen stocks only.
Wrote to Yahoo Finance for help and they told me to clear the cache which I
do regularly anyway. Did it again anyway but it was of no help. Told them
the result and they can help no more.

Tried whatever I could to clean-up my computer but still to no avail. I do
also have a little problems with my Java charts too but not much really.
For the past week I have been in quite a grief. Someone please help
TIA

Unless you want to be more specific (...probaby not? <w>)
you will have to wait for someone who is seeing the same symptom
and then puzzle it out between the two of you.

Alternatively can you simulate the symptom with a different portfolio
you wouldn't care about disclosing?

Good luck

Thanks for your response.
I do feel something is wrong with my browser that is causing the problem.
Pls tell me what you want to know. I will tell you as my portfolios are
worthless now anyway as they're not being updated.
Thanks

I tried just now to create another portfolio as per your advise. It is still
the same. There are no stock quotes in the columns where they're supposed to
be. All I get is NA. Before I had this problem, there were the stock quotes
everyday, and they were updated everyday.
