Failed to download stock quotes

I have been using MSN stock quotes download for several years in Excel. As of
two days ago I get: "Failed to download settings from the internet." when
starting Excel and stock quotes will no longer download.

Thanks in advance. Any help would be invaluable.

Deleting cookies and old files restored MSN stock quotes function to working
order
