Unable to Get Outlook Express to Download on the Limited User Acco

My reformatted Dell desktop, Windows XP-Home is spyware/virus clean with all
the Windows updates. I created an Admin account and a Limited Account.

Using a floppy, I exported Outlook Express settings from their old Win-98 PC
and imported them to the new Dell, first to the Admin Account and then to the
Limited Account. There is only one email address with a DSL ISP. All the
setting look good.

The problem is that email will download to the Admin Account, but NOT to the
Limited.

How can I get the Limited User Account to receive e-mail?

Would be helpful if you told us what is (not) happening - error
message(s)? - nothing happens?. Please explain.

RESPONSE: WHAT IS NOT HAPPENING?

I am not getting any email or a progress meter. No evidence that the
send/receive function is working, although the settings are the same on both
the Admin and Limited side.

On the Admin side the send/receive works as intended.

Can't replicate that problem, my dummy Ltd a/c works fine.

Try these
- under your supervision, change the Ltd a/c to full and see what
happens; chnage it back.

- create another ltd account - same thing?

- create a full account, set up OE, then chnage the a/c to ltd.
