Unable to find Reference to Microsoft Excel 11 Object Library

I'm tryng to do some Automation of Excel from within an Access database, but
am unable to locate the Excel 11 Object Library in the Available References
list.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Does the PC on which you are looking have Excel installed? ?Version "11"?
(hey, I'll give Access the benefit of the doubt to start -- if it says it
isn't there, maybe it isn't there?!)

Try looking for "Microsoft Excel 11..." not "Excel 11" in the references
list.

Thanks guys. I got an error message the next time I loaded Excel, so I did
a reinstall of the entire Office Suite and it is now available again.
Obviously something got corrupted and the registry lost its settings (or
something like that).

Try looking for "Microsoft Excel 11..." not "Excel 11" in the references
list.
