Unable to find Images - Help Please

I recently did a disc cleanup and I found that the program has removed my
photographs from the drive. It has only removed image files, nothing else.
All that was left was the folders and the thumbs.db file. I have run a virus
check and found that the files are actually still there ie a folder shows
empty but nortons scans 150 files in the folder. I have done everything I
can think of. System Restore, Checked Recycle Bin, etc.

Can someone please help me.

Hi,

To try and retrieve your deleted files, you would want to use an undelete
utility. These are commonly available for free, and work on the premise that
the space the file formerly occupied has not been overwritten with new data
yet. Once that has occured, recovery requires more extensive (and expensive)
work with dedicated forensic tools by someone who knows what they are doing.
