Unable to expand the folder.

Using Outlook/Microsoft Office 2000 -- clicked on "Inbox" and following error
occurred: Unable to expand the folder. The set of folders could not be
opened. Errors have been detected in the file c:\documents and
settings\...\outlook.pst. Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use
the Inbox Repair Tool. I tried using the detect and repair, but that didn't
work. Don't know what else to try.
 
Did you try running ScanPST.EXE (the Inbox Repair Tool) on the PST file
mentioned?
