Unable to execute programs

I have a notebook with W2K Pro loaded. After it loads to
the desktop, I am unable to execute any programs (ex:
notepad, IE, etc). It comes up with a screen that asks
what application to you want to open this with. Any ideas?

Hi

Not sure but I think you may have the Sasser Virus. You can find a removal tool at most Anti virus locations on the net.
