:confused: In my last postings in two threads in the Linux section I have no way to edit my posts. I can quote,multi quote and something else but no edit. :confused:

How long after the initial post have you tried to edit ? I think after a certain time the edit function expires so to speak.
 
yes, there is a 'time' limit ... just post the edit.

We'll get Ian to check it when he's able. :)
 
Well I started this post yesterday and can not edit. :confused:

It is not a big deal as I am a infrequent visitor here now. However I do make a lot of mistakes when posting so editing is very useful as it helps to stop me looking a total fool. I did say helps :fool:
