Unable to drag & drop items between sharepoint calendar & outlook

I can not get drag & drop to function between my sharepoint calendar and my
outlook 2003 calendar. I get a message that I dont have correct permissions.
However, I am the administrator, the outlook calendar is mine & I am the
owner. What could be the problem?

What happens if you hold down the drag with the right mouse button and choose Copy when you release it?

I get a message: "Can't copy items. You do not have appropriate permission
for this operation" This feature previously worked fine. A few weeks ago
the problem started. I have a small newtork running a Server with SBS 2003
and work stations running XP Pro & Outlook 2003. Service packs are up to
date on all machines. I am the administrator of the network and of my work
station. I have a company calendar on the sharepoint website and need to
copy items to my personal outlook 2003 calendar. I checked the permissions
on the calendar folder-I have owner permission level. I have administrator
permission level on the website.
