unable to download blaster patch

I have been having trouble downloading and installing the
blaster worm patch. Is my computer safe if my computer no
longer shuts down itself, and I have my firewall setup?

You have taken the first few critical steps in clearing your system of the MSBlaster worm, but you still need to completely
remove the infection. With the high volumes of calls, the download site is very strained, but there are some other sites
available which offer tools to clean infected systems;
