Unable to display the folder....

I don't know what the heck happened today, but I tried opening my Outlook
2002, and I get the following error:

"Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not access the
specified folder location. The file D:\Documents and Settings\User\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.pst is not a personal
folders file.

Everything was working fine until this afternoon. I downloaded the Office XP
SP3 which apparently fixes this, but it didn't do a thing. I've checked for
my Outlook.pst and Archive.pst files, and they are in the proper location on
my computer, and have lots of data in them. Hope someone can help me! None of
my folders will open (contacts, inbox, calendar, outlook today....)

Donna

Nevermind! I read a similar post from August something, and Milly replied
suggesting the user run Scanpst.exe. I did that and it found errors in my
Outlook.pst file (none in my archive.pst file). The program fixed the errors,
and I'm back in business! PHEW!!!!!!!! Thanks Milly!
