Unable to display PDF files in IE6.0

J

IE6.0 will only display a blank page and an icon when file
to be viewed is a PDF file when the uniform resource
identifier (URI) to the .pdf file does end in ".pdf" and
the URI contains no # character.
IE6.0 will not allow dowload of target as a file to be
opened locally after download.
Any solution?

1st Make sure that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or
higher installed.
2nd Choose edit-preferences-general, click the tab called
options. Turn off the option to allow fast web view and
try it again.
