Unable to Delete This Folder

I created a subfolder in my deleted folder in Outlook 2000 and now I can't
delete it. I get an error message that says: "Unable to delete this folder.
Right-click the folder, and then click Properties to check your permissions
for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your
permissions." When I look in Properties I don't see anything about
permissions. I am the folder owner and there is no administrator as this is
my home computer that only I use! HELP!!

WHat happens when you try to empty the Deleted Items folder?
 
Well, I don't really want to delete the whole folder, but I AM able to
permanently delete items in it, and I am also able to delete other subfolders
in it. Any ideas?
