Unable to delete Temporary Internet Files

I have a website that I visited which keeps appearing in the Google search
history drop-down. I cannot reset this. Also when I delete Temporary
Internet Files in IE6, it does not send the files to the recycle bin to be
deleted. please help me erase search histories.
