Unable to delete some URL's from History

Hi guys!
I seem to be unable to delete some URL's from IE's history. I tried,
of course, the "Clear history" option (both via IE and via Control
panel), but certain URL's remain no matter what. After i clear
history, i begin typing the said URL, and IE displays the rest of it,
i.e. it is still kept somewhere. I have run full text and registry
search, and found nothing. When i enter the "History" section of IE,
the mentioned URL's do not appear in the list, but can be found using
search. After i located one such URL using the history search, i tried
deleting it (using right-click or Delete key), there was an "Are you
sure?" message box, i answered "Yes", but nothing happened, the URL
was still there.
I'm using Windows 2000, IE 6.0.
Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?

Gal,
Delete the affected History folder.
