I've copied data from a CD into C:\temp, and now no
longer need the "temp" data. When I try to delete the
files (and directories), some delete and others fail with
an "<file> is not accessible. Access is denied" error.
The file attributes show up as R/O, which I remove, but
they don't go away. Under Advanced properties
the "indexing service" option is checked, and it won't go
away either. Perhaps this is all because the file is
actually deleted, but it still appears in the directory
structure. I have quit a few of these files and
directories at this point, and am puzzled. What's
happening here?
