Unable to delete file with large filename

Hello

I accidentally downloaded a small file with a huge filename from one of the
popular peer-to-peer file swapping networks and am unable to delete it.

Even when I go in through DOS and try to do either a wildcard delete
(delete u*) or try to delete it using the 8.3 filename format, I receive a
message saying "File Not Found".

Nor am I able to move it to another directory or delete the directory it is
in.

How do I get rid of it ?

Thanks a bunch.

Sounds like you may have gotten a trojan. I recommend scanning for viruses.

btw: what is the filename? It may contain illegal characters, which would
also explain why you can't delete it.
