I was attacked by a virus that created unwelcome favorite places, changed my home page, and search pages. I've since run Spybot and Adaware and cleaned up the problem. However, there remains one file in my favorite places that I cannot get rid of. When I attempt to delete, the message reads "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk." When I try to open it, it wont open. File properties- no file type, zero bytes size. I tried to delete this file through Windows Explorer and even through DOS to no avail. I've also tried repairing Internet Explorer, no luck. I also tried deleting all register entries with the file name. This didn't work either. Anybody have any suggestions?
