unable to delete a file

each time i try to delete a dreamweaver file I get this
message:

"Cannot delete BLOGZS~1: cannot find specific file.

Make sure you specify the correct path and filename."



I'm trying to delete this as an admin and it's not letting
me. Does anyone know how I can delete this file?

Hi, Sherman.

HOW are you trying to delete the file? In the GUI?

Open a "DOS" window (Run: cmd). In that folder, type: dir /x

This should give you the legitimate SFN (Short File Name, also known as the
8.3 filename), just in case "BLOGZS~1" is a phony. Then type: del <SFN>

If it doesn't work, post back, telling us what you did and what you saw.
