I have a couple of networking problems with WinXP home. First, I can't
access the properties of the VPN connection I have created. When I click on
properties, the computer does nothing. No hourglass, nor harddrive access,
nothing. It just sits like I never clicked on anything.
Secondly. When I go to create a new network connection, all the options for
any sort of outgoing connection are grayed out. The only option available
is for an incoming connection.
My PC is WinXP home SP1, current on all patches. I have two LAN
connections - one for my LAN and the other for DSL. Each Lan connection on
it's own Ethernet card. The DSL connection is firewalled with Zonealarm. I
only have one VPN connection set up and it works fine, it just won't let me
change properties.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff
