Unable to connect 2 Domain machines offline with SP3

Hi All,

I have two laptops that are normally part of a domain, when offline using
local accounts, they are unable to connect to each others local shares. This
happens with XP SP3.

The same machines and configuration, but with SP2 work fine.

Tried with switch between the machines, a xover cable, have assigned static
IPs and used APIPA.

I'm thinking this is something to do with kerberos and not failing back to
NTLM. But was hoping someone may have had this issue and can help resolve.
