I opened the old Outlook data files (*.pst) from my old desktop to transfer
information into the hard drive of my new computer, I am now UNABLE to close
that older PERSONAL FOLDERS file in Outlook. I can access the data from the
old hard drive, but I want to CLOSE it completely and I keep getting the
message

THE OPERATION FAILED. AN OBJECT COULD NOT BE FOUND

Tried the Inbox repair tool and nothing changed.

Right-click>Close or File>Data File Management, select the PST and click
Remove.
