Unable to activate PS CS3

Running Vista Home Premium on a new Toshiba laptop After successfully install
Photoshop I am unable to connect to the adobe activation. The activation
window suggest the problem may be HTTPS protocol and asks for serer address
and port# (beyond me) and or proxy server require authentication username and
password which I do not have,I think?

Is this a security problem on other software conflict? I only have Macafee
supplied as a free 3 months subscription. I've got 29 days to figure this
out, before I cannot use my paid software. Thanks

As the problem lies with the Activation of Adobe Photoshop you would be
better off contacting Adobe technical support. They can then talk you
through the activation of Photoshop step by step.
