Unable to access shared folders under NetworkService Account

I have a NT Service program that is running under the NetworkService
account on XP. The service is unable to access shared folders on a
remote Win2k machine. The XP machine and Win2k machine are in the
same workgroup.

I can access the shared folders from Explorer using a local account on
the XP machine. The shared folder on the remote machine allows full
control to Authenticated Users and Everyone. My understanding is that
the NetworkService account has access to network resources as
Authenticated Users and Everyone.

Any ideas?
