Unable to access my personal folder .pst

Unable to display the folder. errors have been detected
in teh file Cocuments and Settings\User\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst.
Quit all mail-enabled applications, and then use the
Inbox Repair Tool.

Tried that but not working. when i tried teh inbox repair
tool it got to about the end and gave me an error that it
could not continue due to an error and that no changes to
the folder had been made.

Any idea what the heck happend?

I walked away from my computer for about 3 hours came
back and had 3 emails in the inbox and as soon as i tried
to view them I was no longer able to use any of my
personal folder... calendar, contacts, emails and
everything are no inaccessable.

Please help.

Outlook 2000 did that to me several times in the first week I started using
it. I upgraded to OL 2003 and haven't seen the problem in a couple of
months.
