Hi,
I work in a IT company.I have been alloted a computer for my work.My problem
is that when I login using my user Id,I am ynable to browse the Internet. When
I access the same system through an Admin account(for us it is sysadmin) and
click on Internet explorer I can browse the internet after typing my username
and password in a dialog box which asks me username and password. Now I wanna
know why i am unable to access it through my account. Is there anyhting to be
done with "regedit"? If yes please tell me the procedure to do so.

If you work for an IT company, isn't there anyone there that can help you?
But thats not my problem. Anyways, I suspect its a proxy setting. If you
haven't checked that then go to (in IE) Tools-> Internet Options->
Connections-> and click on LAN Settings button towards the bottom and make
sure that the settings match whatever the settings are on the admin account.

If you work for an IT company, maybe the network admins can tell you how the
computers are setup. There are multiple reasons why users would be prevented
from accessing the Internet, some may be intentional, others accidental. If the
IT company is any good, they will be intentional, and the network admins would
be the ones to ask.
