Unable install windows xp

I have intel 865gbf motherboard with 80gb Sata Hdd,512
ddr with 400 mhz speed,the problem I am facing is that I
am not able to install Windows XP in my computer.Can
anybody help me out in this matter.

You will need to add the SATA drivers during hw start-up of the Xp install.

You need to place the SATA drivers that came with your MOBO on a floppy and
if you watch the XP install screen very carefully there comes a point where
you need to press F6 in order to install these drivers in order for XP to
find and use your HD. If I remember right its treated the same way as a RAID
setup.
