Hi

I am trying to connect to the remote machine,
but when add the machine on the monitor
I encounter the error "Unable connect to machine".
Please give me advice!

[Machines]
Monitor machine:winXPSP1, does not join domain
Remote machine:winXPSP1(& latest patch), does not join domain

[I have tried..]
1:NET USE
NET USE \\[machine_name or IP] /user:[user_name]
worked fine.
The login user has "administrator".
2:Try to connect other machines.
Connect to XPSP2(joins domain), can monitor it
Connect to XPSP1(joins domain, not latest patch), can monitor it
3:"Control panel>Remote>Allow users to connect remotely to this computer"
here is checked.
4:Both machines were rebooted.

If XPsp1 latest patch, any problems?
if does not join domain, how is it?
or other problems?

Best regards

Hiko

UPDATE

The machine XP(SP1&latest patch) joined domain, but still can not
monitor from another machine.
I am wondering the patch issue, but XP(SP2&latest patch)
can be set well, fine..
Is it only regarding SP1??
or another setting problem..??

By the way regarding "NET USE", I have never been asked to
set password.Status was "success" but looks ???.

Regards

UPDATE2

When I update the machine(XPSP1 not latest patch)>>(XPSP1 latest patch)
can not monitor the machine.
Before could monitor it.

Net Use also now system error 1326.
Before update it worked fine.
Looks like something changed by new patch..
Or simply I have mistaken to set something..??
