Unable Access Trace Precedents/Dependents Auditing Tool

Need help - does anyone know how why I can not access my excel xp application's - trace precedents/dependents auditing tool feature? Whenever I attempt this task - I receive the following Microsoft error messages: "The macro 'ExcelPrecedents' can not be found" or "The macro 'ExcelDependents' can not be found". What makes this error strange is that I use the same configuration on both my desktop system and notebook system. I have no problem accessing trace precedents/dependents on my notebook. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like something has remapped these menu items. I would go to
tools=>customize, go to the first tab, select Worksheet Menu Bar and click
Reset. This will remove menu customizations for the Worksheet Menu Bar.
