un delete a contact

How can I restore a delted contact that isn't in the trash file?

I have a program that dials contacts when in hit 'ctrl+d'. Unfortunately -
if my Outlook window is open instead of the other program - the 'ctrl+d'
keystroke DELETES my contact. They don't go to the trash - they just
disappear forever.

1. How can i restore these deleted contacts
2. Can i change outlook so that 'Ctrl+D' does NOT delete contacts

It isn't easy and you might not be lucky.

I suggest you see if you can change the settings on this other program you
have to use something other than ctrl + D.
