Un-associate files in DOS

G

Guest

After installing Click to Create, a PDF creation program, my MS D0S Word Star
printer files (also .pdf) became Adobe Acrobat files. I deleted Acrobat, and
changed the association to Word Star, but WS no longer prints. The old
association in DOS for WS was "unknown application". I can't get that back.
Any ideas of how to "unassociate" a file?

This group is for questions about Word!

However, in Windows Explorer > tools > folder options > file types - delete
the entry for the WordStar file extension in question.

Hello,

Could you please provide an active group for questions about Wordstar?

However, I would think that questions about any word processing
programme would be legitimate questions here, as long as they are not
program specific.
After all, people shouldn't learn to use MS Word but learn to use a
word processor.
However, in Windows Explorer > tools > folder options > file types -
delete the entry for the WordStar file extension in question.

You're a nice person!

This is a usenet newsgroup hosted by Microsoft, one of many thousands of
such groups, which you have accessed either directly via usenet or through
one of a number of web portals. This one is for Microsoft Word new users.
Questions about other word processing applications are inappropriate here
and best addressed to newsgroups that concentrate on those applications
where the expertise to answer them is likely to be found.

If it has an "X" in the name, it must be Linux?
Please don't thank me in advance. Thank me afterwards if it works or
hit me in the face if it doesn't. ;-)
