UML and Device driver

Hi All,
To what extent UML is useful in describing kernel and device driver
design and architecture ?
Can anyone explain the approach to be used in device driver design ?
Any useful links really appreciated.

I don't think XPe is a good newsgroup for driver development questions.
You may want to post it to more appropriate newsgroup like WDM and other driver related forums.

Btw, UML can be used in design and architecture of any piece of software.
