Is Ultra ATA disk interface better or Serial ATA disk interface?

SATA. But the interface is not the only factor. If your HD is trash
then you defeat everything. But SATA is replacing IDE by a long shot.
If you browse newegg for hardware, 1 out of 20 drives is IDE the others
are sata.
