Gordon Brown was born in Glasgow, so I suppose that's the political point.
But if someone wants to make a political statement about a new PM, then
there are better ways of doing it than driving your jeep into a building and
burning yourself to death..

Surely there's a better newsgroup for all this nonsense?

I'd hardly call terrorism nonsense but yes you are correct, there are more
suitable groups.

Ignore those comments. Some people refuse to be effected by anything that
doesn't have a direct *personal* impact.

These are dangerous times, boys and girls, so try to be a bit more tolerant
of what others consider important.

Dangerous times or not, this is not the place for these discussions. This IS
NOT a chat room.

You have a FAR greater chance of being killed by a drunk driver then a
terrorist. The terrorists are impotent amateurs. See what a little ol'
hurricane did to New Orleans? Terrorists couldn't even hope to cause such
damage and death.

On 9-11 we lost 2 ugly buildings and 3000 lives. By that same date, we had
lost 40,000 people in auto accidents in the USA.

Dead is dead, how you get there doesn't matter, but one form doesn't demand
living in fear, or tearing up the constitution, over the other.

Keep it in perspective, people.

The terrorists only win if YOU decide to be "terrified".

I give a toss -- this is NOT a chat room -- it's for problems and solutions
with VISTA.

Having lived through the IRA bombing campaigns in England I know what it's
like.
