Advent Computers, where I got my PC from, were not helpful. What downloads were available, were corrupted.

I am after the following updates.

Display adapters - NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers - VIA Bus Master IDE Controller
Modems - Creatix V.9X DSP Data Fax Modem
Monitors - Plug and Play Monitor
Network adapters - VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter
Sound, video and game controllers - Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller
Universal Serial Bus controllers - VIA USB Enhanced Host Controller & VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller

nVidia drivers ... we go to nVidia.

The rest, apart from your modem, are motherboard drivers ... again, one would got to the manufacturer of your MB ... if you you know who that is. This can be very difficult to ascertain 'cos Advent is a farmed out company that Dixons, Currys, and PC World use as an "own brand" and are usually crap MBs

What operating system are you using ?
Does your Advent have a model number ?

Have you tried the "Windows Update Site" at all ?
