Uber BIOSs

Has anybody got any experiences, good or bad, with the modified Uber
BIOSs?

All good... been using the BIOS's from the get go as I use SATA and like the
updated SATA BIOS.

It's pretty standard BIOS with a few options enabled that Asus left
disabled, it's not like anything is really modified in the actual working of
the BIOS.

But this is included in the official BIOS IIRC.

The 1007 includes the latest known BIOS for the SiI3112A (4.2.27), so no
requirement for a later one.

When I purchased my board, the latest BIOS was 1005, with a SATA BIOS of
4.1.50, older than the 4.2.12 that was the latest known at the time.

Not by the same guy. If you want an Uber style BIOS you can do it yourself
using modbin and "Edit Setup Screen" (assuming you have an Award 6 BIOS
which the P4PE does - there should be a version for the 4.5s too)
