Windows 2000 Service with Services for Macintosh.
Client machines worked fine in X.1 and earlier.
The latest version of Microsoft UAM (for authenticating MACS using
appletalk to a Windows 2000 Server using Services for Macintosh) (in
OS X.3) brings up it's AUTHENTICATION WINDOW in the background of
other Finder Windows. Therefore, if a user has any finder window (or
any application window) covering the center of the screen (where the
authentication window pops up), then he cannot see the window in order
to log in. If it is a Finder Window covering the AUTH window, then
the user MUST FORCE QUIT / RELAUCH the Finder in order to see the AUTH
window. A very very big pain for end users causing a lot of waisted
time and confusion. Looks like a Bug - anyone have any ideas?
